Okay, so just an update on the last post. After a what can only be described as a roller-coaster of a week, I finally passed my stone this morning. :) Just thought you might like to know that, and maybe see what it looks like. And no, the passing part didn't hurt a bit (thankfully). I wouldn't have even noticed if I wasn't watching. haha
Thank you to
everyone who called this week or showed concern for me...it really helped a lot.
What I'm most
disappointed about is how that
TINY little thing caused soooo much discomfort and pain! I would have rather had a baby - at least it would have been worth it!
What I'm most
amazed about is how the CT scan even picked that up. Modern medicine and technology - simply amazing.
What I'm looking forward to - not feeling like I have to go to the bathroom every 5 minutes (though, yes, I should probably still keep my liquid intake up)
What I'm
NOT looking forward to - the hospital bill.

Look at how jagged those edges are!! Sheesh.
Thanks for reading!!
what i'm curious about, though i'm not sure i want to know, is how you got it once it had pass. peeing in a cup? grabbing your rubbers and sticking your hand in the toilet? ...
Wow! I am so glad it finally passed! That looks like it DEFINITLY would have hurt!
Ouch! Hopefully next time you're in that much pain, you'll get a baby out of the deal. ;)
oh man, my dad's a urologist and so I grew up on horror stories about the dangers of stones! You poor dear! I'm glad it's all over!
Wow Janneke! I wish I had read your post earlier so I could have brought some comfort...something...okay, I don't know what I would have brought...it's not like you were eating or anything. Anyway, I am so glad that it passed and you are feeling better! Sounds like it was an awful time. Good thing you have such a wonderful husband!!
woo hoo! i didn't know it had passed yet! shows what kind of neighbor i am! your blog is cute. it's funny seeing you with super long hair at your wedding. you just have one of those faces that looks good with any hair! lucky! i'm adding you to our blog list. (we just started one like two weeks ago so i've been slowly collecting people.) Prepare to be collected.
